Voddie Baucham brings out some strong biblical challenges on the issue of feminism creeping in on the church. He also does a great job clarifying on some misuse of scripture by Margaret Feinberg. He demonstrates something that is rare in our culture, a man speaking strongly and not apologetically as he is challenged by a female anchor and female guest of the show, and yet I believe he is respectful to both.

The difficult thing about this is the fact that it was still just a sound bite of the overall conversation on this. Vodie stood up for sound doctrine, but did not have time to express the whole of who he is and how that plays out. As a result, it leaves a lot of questions from the viewers and even myself as to how this looks for him.
I appreciated the brief dialogue, but I also know that 4 minute conversations tend to create more confusion than unity on issues. That part is a bit disappointing to me about this.
That being said, I do appreciate Vodie Baucham and his commitment to the scriptures in a culture that wants to sway with every wind of doctrine.
Kevin,
I agree with you. I do not think that this 4 minutes will win souls, but I don think it can bolster those within the church and helps to challenge some standard views. It is a sound bite, but it is also helps to introduce some to look further into Voddie’s ministry and teaching.
