This will probably be the only time that I ever comment on sports!
The great thing about the shot by Bryce Drew was what a humble, nice guy he was. He could have gone to a better basketball school, but he chose to go to Valpo to help his dad, the coach. Homer Drew actually dressed up and knocked on the front door when recruiting Bryce, even though he was his son. (I knew Bryce because we went to Valpo at the same time.) That shot never “went to his head” so to speak.
