Must See TV: ER’s Atonement Episode
Posted in Christian Living, Videos by ministerandy on February 18th, 2008
This may be the only time this blog mentions the NBC show ER, but this clip about a dying cancer patient challenging a liberal chaplain is a great scene. (I have not seen the rest of this episode)

Sad that that scene happens alot in daily life in one way or another. Lord help us to be ready to give an answer for the hope that is within us to a dying world! Thanks for sharing that clip, Andy.

No one wants absolute truths until they are close to death. They reject it and go their own way, but only until they see that the answers they have given themselves all their life aren’t at all comforting (and really don’t make sense) is when they seem to realize that there has to be God that truly does have standards, and truly does have have a clear way to life eternal.

Awesome! That clip needs to be broadcast to every (liberal) theology class on every campus in America.

Thanks for posting that clip. I think its great that he mentions the “new age God is love, one size fits all” statement. It seems that there are a lot of churches that only preach on God’s love, and not the fierce side of God’s anger.
