I am so thankful for my friends from south of the river (Kentucky). Several of them were a great encouragment to me in my Christian walk during high school. It is also nice that there are several
annual rivalries we share, helping us to keep up with one another. There is the annual River Cup golf tournament, in which Edgewood retained the cup again this year. And then there is the IU vs. Kentucky basketball game, in which IU destroyed the Wildcats. Ben and I had a friendly blog wagger on it this year, so I want all the IU fans and Edgewood people to click over and enjoy the spoils. Thanks for being a good sport Ben!

Why? Are you guys getting Tubby Back?
Hey, we really need to talk up an Edgewood vs. Heritage Softball game in the spring.
The River Cup guys kept trying to come up with something they could beat Edgewood in, and seemed confident that softball was their best bet.
Ha ha. Tubby’s recruits are part of the problem right now. Not all of it, though. Not sure what Gillespie’s got going on. It’s taking some adjustment, but hopefully we’ll pull out of this mess. We’re 4-5 now. Not good.
And yeah, I’m all over an HBC-Edgewood softball game. A three-game series would be good. Do it all in a day. That’d be harder logistically b/c it’d be a lot more people. But yeah, we should do it.
