Andy:
Was looking at your site this morning. How did you get those songs on the site like that! Cool.
Also, I thought the 3 quotes were interesting. Ain’t it the truth!!
Glad you found your cleats for $2.00!
Love, Linda
Andy,
Just kind of stumbled onto your blog. I’m a Music Minister in a suburb of Michigan. I had heard that the Getty’s and Stuart Townend had written more songs than “In Christ Alone”. Your inclusion of the 3 songs here, peaked my curiosity when I saw that they were by the Getty’s. As a result of your blog entry, I introduced “Speak O Lord” to the congregation, a couple of weeks ago. What a great song to prepare hearts for the sermon! Just wanted to encourage you to continue with the blog. In a very important way, your blog has influenced a Music Minister, a congregation and the kingdom. Thank you.
Just curious, what album are these songs taken from?
Steven,
Thanks for the words of encouragement. The songs are taken from a CD entitled, “Modern Hymns Live”. I don’t think it can be ordered. I purchased it at Parkside Church when I was there for the Basics Pastor’s Conference. I believe it can be purchased at any Getty concert as well. And again, thanks for your commenting!

Hi Andy!
The song Elise and I wanted to hear again is Speak O Lord!
Thank you for the time you take for us in so many varied ways! Preaching, teaching and even pointing us to songs with words tht offer encouragement and praise to HIM ALONE!
